Elite Athletic Nutrition Program

Stop guessing and start optimizing with a nutrition plan built specifically for your training load. Experience the power of targeted fueling that turns your potential into measurable, high-impact results.

* No obligation. One honest conversation about your athlete's goals.

Your athlete puts in the work. Early mornings, double practices, back-to-back tournaments. But if they're not fueling their body to match the demands of their sport, that effort has a ceiling.

Most teen athletes are guessing. Coaches cover technique. Schools cover fitness. Nobody covers nutrition, not in a way that's built around their sport, their training schedule, and their body.

Sprout Nourishment fills that gap. Jaci Salley, Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (CNTP), builds personalized nutrition programs for competitive athletes ages 13 to 18. Not a generic meal plan, a complete fueling system designed around your athlete's sport, schedule, and competitive season.

And for parents, that means real clarity at the grocery store. Every program includes grocery lists built around your athlete's plan, so you know exactly what to buy, not just what they should be eating.Athletes who fuel their training with a plan built for their body recover faster, focus longer, and show up ready to compete.

Why Choose Our Program?

Our precision-driven approach goes beyond the scoreboard. We build the nutritional foundation for peak physical dominance and cognitive clarity, ensuring your athlete is always game-ready.

Peak Power
& Output

Master the science of fueling to maximize explosive energy, sustained endurance, and late-game stamina.

Rapid System Recovery

Utilize advanced nutrient timing to slash downtime, minimize muscle soreness, and bounce back faster after every session.

The
Cognitive Edge

Sharpen focus and stabilize game-day nerves through targeted neuro-nutrition that keeps the mind calm under pressure.

Durability & Longevity

Strengthen the body from the inside out with micronutrient protocols designed to fortify joints, prevent injury, and extend athletic careers.

Proven Results

Every athlete arrives with a different set of demands. These are the areas where Sprout Nourishment works.

Sports Nutrition Consulting

One-on-one work that builds a nutrition strategy around your athlete's specific sport and training load. It addresses energy availability, macronutrient timing, and hydration in a way that translates directly to performance on the field. This is where most athletes discover the specific adjustments that have been holding them back.

Athletic Performance Nutrition

Focuses on optimizing what your athlete eats before, during, and after training to improve output and reduce fatigue. The right fuel at the right time is the difference between a practice where your athlete improves and one where they just survive it. Every recommendation is built around their training schedule, not a general template.

Sports Recovery Nutrition

Addresses what happens after the final whistle. Muscle repair, inflammation reduction, and sleep quality all depend on what your athlete eats in the hours after competition. Faster recovery means more productive practices, fewer injuries, and the ability to compete at full intensity more often.

Youth Sports Nutrition

Accounts for the fact that adolescent athletes have different nutritional needs than adult athletes. Growth, development, and athletic performance are happening simultaneously. A nutrition plan that ignores this creates deficits that show up as fatigue, injury, or burnout. Jaci builds every teen athlete program with these factors built in.

Teen Athlete Nutrition

Built around the practical realities of a competitive teen's schedule: school, practice, travel, and competition days that do not wait for ideal conditions. The program gives your athlete habits and systems they can execute independently, not a rigid meal plan that falls apart the moment their schedule changes.

Competition Day Nutrition

The strategy your athlete uses on game day: what to eat the night before, the morning of, and between events. Most athletes get this wrong and pay for it in energy crashes and slow reaction times. Getting it right is a competitive edge that requires no additional training.

Nutrition for Lacrosse Players

Addresses the specific demands of a sport that requires sustained speed, explosive agility, and the conditioning to maintain both through four quarters. Jaci has worked with lacrosse teams and individual players at the club and travel level, building nutrition strategies tailored to the demands of the sport.

Sports Nutrition Denver

Available to athletes and teams across the Denver metro area and surrounding region, with in-person sessions at Jaci's Denver practice and virtual sessions available for athletes who train or compete outside the area.

How the Program Works

Six steps from first contact to a nutrition system your athlete owns for life.

01

Free Consultation

A 30-minute call to understand your athlete's sport, training schedule, current eating habits, and performance goals. This is not a sales call. It is an assessment. If the program is not the right fit, Jaci will tell you.

02

Comprehensive Intake Assessment

Your athlete completes a detailed health and nutrition history covering training load, sleep, hydration, digestion, energy patterns, and food preferences. This gives Jaci the foundation for a program that is specific, not generic.

03

Initial Testing

Depending on your athlete's needs, Jaci may recommend food sensitivity testing or additional assessment to identify any nutritional gaps or sensitivities affecting performance. Testing options are discussed during the consultation and are not required for every athlete.

04

Custom Nutrition Plan

Jaci builds a sport-specific nutrition plan covering daily fueling, pre-training and post-training nutrition, competition day strategy, and hydration. The plan is written for your athlete's real schedule, including school days, travel weekends, and tournament blocks.

05

Coaching Sessions

Ongoing sessions to review progress, adjust the plan, and build the knowledge your athlete needs to make good decisions independently. Sessions are conducted in person in Denver or virtually, on a schedule that fits your athlete's season.

06

Independent Performance

The program ends when your athlete understands their own nutritional needs well enough to manage them without a practitioner looking over their shoulder. The goal is a lifelong skill set, not a dependency on continued coaching.

What Athletes are Saying...

Join the ranks of high-performers who have optimized their edge.

“I reached out to Jaci 6 months ago to refine my nutrition and dial in my eating habits for my upcoming race season, The Leadville Leadman Challenge.  We incorporated intermittent fasting, a Paleo, anti-inflammatory diet, and I dropped 35 pounds within the first 3 months and ultimately 45 pounds by the end of the race season! I’m extremely impressed and very happy with both my race results and my weight results!  I look forward to fine tuning and continuing with my current nutritional protocol and also adding new aspects as well with Jaci, she has been great!”

Questions

Get answers about our program, testing, and what to expect.

How is this different from general nutrition advice?

Most nutrition advice is built for adults and adapted down to teens. This program is built specifically for competitive athletes in the 13 to 18 age range, accounting for the simultaneous demands of growth, development, and athletic performance. Every recommendation is calibrated to your athlete's sport and their actual training schedule.

Does my athlete need to have a health problem to enroll?

No. Most athletes who work with Jaci are healthy and performing well. They come because they want to perform better, recover faster, or build habits before a critical recruitment season. You do not need a diagnosis to benefit from a nutrition program designed for performance.

What exactly is included in the program?

A full breakdown is in the What Is Included section above. Every athlete receives a comprehensive assessment, a custom sport-specific nutrition plan, ongoing coaching sessions to adjust the plan as the season progresses and a copy of Jaci's guide book.

How much of my athlete's time does this require?

The initial assessment and strategy session is the most time-intensive part of the process. After that, coaching sessions are scheduled around your athlete's training and competition calendar. Most athletes spend 30 to 60 minutes per session, with practical homework they can apply in their daily routine.

Is this program available outside of Denver?

Yes. Jaci works with athletes across the country through virtual sessions. Testing, where applicable, is completed through local draw sites. The program does not require you to be in Denver.

What happens after the program ends?

Your athlete leaves with a complete understanding of their own nutritional needs and the habits to manage them independently. Jaci can discuss extended support or seasonal check-in packages for athletes who want continued accountability.

What is Jaci's credential and what does it cover?

Jaci Salley holds the Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (CNTP) designation from the Nutritional Therapy Association. A CNTP is trained in the relationship between nutrition and physical function, with a focus on identifying nutritional deficiencies and building individualized whole-food strategies. This is a nutritional therapy practice, not a medical practice. Jaci does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Do you work with teams and clubs as well as individual athletes?

Yes. Jaci has worked with volleyball and lacrosse teams to build team-wide nutrition strategies for full competitive seasons. Team programs are structured differently from individual programs. Contact Jaci directly to discuss what a team engagement looks like for your organization.
